McGILL (A Regal Rexnord Brand) is pioneer in Cam Follower technology. McGILL engineer, Thomas L. Robinson, invented the first needle bearing cam follower more than 85 years ago. McGILL patented CAMROL® cam-follower bearing in 1905. Today, McGILL CAMROL bearings are offered in more than 1400 different combinations and configurations. McGILL® Bearings product range includes CAMROL®, CAGEROL®, GUIDEROL®, TRAKROL® and SPHERE-ROL® bearings.
CAMROL® Cam Followers - The CAMROL full complement needle bearings are made of black oxide-treated bearing steel. They come in two general mounting styles for mechanical automation or linear motion applications. CAMROL bearings outlast some competitors products by up to 50 times in a range of laboratory and customer tests conducted by McGILL.
CAGEROL® Needle Bearings - CAGEROL (Cage Roller) machined race needle bearings are made of bearing quality steel with contoured rollers, when advantageous. This reduces end stresses and permits more misalignment.
GUIDEROL® Needle Bearings - GUIDEROL (Guide Roller) machined race full complement needle bearings are made of bearing quality steel. The innovative roller and raceway design offers center-guided rollers for better radial load carrying capacity. It is also best suited for oscillating loads. GUIDEROL bearings contain a radial lubrication hole and groove in the outer raceway. We also provide an optional inner raceway (MI-series) for relubrication by the housing or shaft.
TRAKROL® Cam Followers - TRAKROL (Track Roller) bearings incorporate black oxide treated bearing steel. They employ either precision ball or tapered roller bearing insert for increased operating life under combined radial and thrust loads.
SPHERE-ROL® Spherical Roller Bearings - SB series SPHERE-ROL bearings share all the inherent benefits of a single row spherical roller bearing. Also, these bearings offer the capability of integral seals. SPHERE-ROL bearings are a sealed spherical roller bearing series. They are dimensionally interchangeable with standard double row spherical roller bearings.
